Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the MCGI MFA Assistant on web, iOS, or Android, including the in-app messaging feature, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.
Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate account details and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping profile information current.
License and permitted use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the services for lawful and authorized ministry-support purposes.
- Use the platform only for lawful, authorized, and non-abusive purposes.
- Do not disrupt, reverse engineer, exploit, or attempt unauthorized access to the service.
- Do not submit harmful, fraudulent, or misleading information.
- Respect the privacy, safety, and dignity of members, staff, and third parties.
User submissions and communications
You are responsible for information submitted through PDOS applications, seafarer registration, inquiries, and chat interactions. We may review, moderate, or retain submissions to provide service, enforce policy, and protect users.
In-app messaging
In-app messaging is provided for respectful, lawful, and ministry-support communications between authorized users. You are responsible for the messages, replies, reactions, and other content you send or share through the feature.
- Do not send harassment, threats, hate, sexually explicit content, exploitation, spam, scams, malware, or illegal content.
- Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent your affiliation, or pressure users to disclose sensitive personal information.
- Do not share another person's private information without authorization.
- Use report and block controls, where available, to notify us about abusive content or unwanted contact.
Moderation, reports, and blocking
We may monitor, review, remove, restrict, or preserve messages and related account information when needed to operate the service, investigate user reports, enforce these terms, protect users, comply with law, or satisfy Apple App Store and Google Play safety expectations. We may warn users, remove content, limit messaging, block contact, suspend accounts, or terminate access for violations.
AI, advisory, and informational disclaimers
AI responses, travel advisories, and church/location information are provided for guidance and may not always be complete or real-time. You remain responsible for verifying critical legal, safety, and travel requirements through official sources.
Account suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict access for policy violations, abuse, fraud prevention, security events, or legal requirements. You may also request account deletion in-app, via API, or through our public deletion page.
Mobile app platforms
If you access the service through an app distributed by Apple or Google, your use is also subject to the applicable Apple App Store, Google Play, device, and platform terms. Apple and Google are not responsible for providing support for this service unless their own terms require otherwise. You must not use the mobile app in a way that violates applicable app marketplace rules or device platform policies.
Availability and updates
Service availability may change, including maintenance, downtime, or feature updates. We may revise these terms periodically, and continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from service use, delays, or interruptions.
